tp orientation. it was, a failure. failure coz i didnt really enjoy myself. for like 90% of the time, we were cheering. cheering for? to compete against other courses in business, to compete against other schools like engineering and design, to cheer for those participating in games.
those participating in games probably enjoyed themselves. but what abt us? i noe they're trying to create this sense of belonging to the sch in us, like by cheering for those representing our sch. but, i still think everyone should get involved in games. games help to bond ppl up easily, not cheering.
like sa orientation, half of the class played the survivor thingy, half was involved in the class mascot thing. though the class was split into 2, but at least everyone get to 'play'?
and yes, sa's leaders are probably better? they have dry weather plans and wet weather plans. in tp, it rained on both days. on the first day, we were stucked at the sports complex, doing nth but cheer, again. luckily they didnt teach us tt boring business dance. the music was slow, the moves were uninteresting.
ok la, let me say sth nice abt tp orientation. the mass dance is catchy. so easy tt we learned it in probably, 20 mins? or less. the sl, synergy leaders, like the ogl in jc, are friendly and approachable. maybe coz i feel as old as them? =x
ok back to the bad side. they didnt really bring us around the school. they did, but it only lasted probably, 5 mins?
not much activities. i expected classes to compete with one another in sports. but no.
but hey, i think my class is quite alright. some are quite nice, but some, i didnt even talk to them. =x not that they're not nice, maybe they're just shy in the beginning. i decided not to be shy at all. i'm already v talkative on the 2nd day. helps me to lessen the time to warm up in front of new friends. haha.
i'm so sad. i lost my timetable 1 day after i received it. haha. and according to angeline, i need my matric card number to log into the tp website so print my timetable again.
